Description

The proposed solution in the brief and requirements suggests using the Collection module. We would not recommend using it as it's not compatible with the website's current Drupal version (10); there are currently no patches available to make it compatible, and writing them would require additional effort. Instead, we would recommend a similar approach to the health.gov.au "Minisites" custom functionality, where each study is categorized by a taxonomy. This would allow to leverage all existing functionality of the AIFS website while also giving the possibility to add customisation to each study as per requirements. It would also allow to use the provided codebase for "Minisites" as a reference, and potentially reuse some of the helper functions that will need to be rebuild (as per item #5 in solution outline).
